1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SOLO mobile application ('the App'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ('Terms'). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of SOLO.

2. Description of Service

SOLO is an anonymous social platform that allows you to: • Post thoughts, feelings, and questions anonymously • Read and react to posts from other anonymous users • Participate in topic-based communities (Cantinas) • Comment on posts while maintaining anonymity • Connect with others without revealing your identity SOLO is designed to provide a judgment-free space for authentic expression.

3. User Accounts and Anonymity

To use SOLO, you create an anonymous account: • You are not required to provide your real name • Email is optional (for account recovery only) • You must be at least 13 years old • You are responsible for maintaining account security • One person may not operate multiple accounts to manipulate the platform • You must not attempt to identify or dox other users Your anonymity is protected, but abuse of the platform may result in account suspension.

4. Community Guidelines

SOLO is a safe space for expression. You must not post content that: • Threatens violence or promotes self-harm • Harasses, bullies, or targets individuals or groups • Contains explicit sexual content or pornography • Promotes illegal activities • Violates intellectual property rights • Contains spam or misleading information • Attempts to identify other users • Includes personal information of others Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

5. Cantinas (Topic Communities)

Cantinas are moderated topic-based spaces: • Each Cantina has specific rules in addition to general guidelines • Moderators may remove off-topic or inappropriate content • You must respect Cantina-specific guidelines • Repeated violations in Cantinas may result in restricted access Cantinas include topics like relationships, stress, university, work, and more.

6. Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of content you post on SOLO. By posting, you grant us: • License to display your content to other users • Right to moderate and remove content that violates Terms • Ability to use anonymized, aggregated data for improvements Your posts are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you. We will never sell your content or identify you to third parties.

7. Content Moderation

SOLO uses both automated systems and human moderators to: • Review reported content • Remove guideline violations • Identify patterns of abuse • Maintain community safety Moderation decisions are final. Appeals can be submitted to support@soloapp.com.

8. Reporting and Safety

If you see concerning content: • Use the in-app report feature immediately • Provide context about the violation • Do not engage with abusive users • Block users if needed For emergencies or threats of immediate harm, contact local authorities. SOLO is not a crisis intervention service.

9. Mental Health Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: SOLO IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH CARE. While SOLO provides a supportive community: • It is not therapy or counseling • Users are not licensed professionals • Advice from users should not replace medical guidance • We cannot guarantee the accuracy of user posts If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, contact: • National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 988 • Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741 • Local emergency services: 911 Your safety is paramount. Please seek professional help when needed.

10. Prohibited Activities

You must not: • Attempt to identify other users or share their posts outside SOLO • Create multiple accounts to manipulate votes or engagement • Use bots or automated tools • Scrape or collect data from the platform • Impersonate others or create fake personas • Share login credentials • Reverse engineer the app • Use SOLO for commercial purposes without permission

11. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that: • Violate these Terms or Community Guidelines • Engage in harassment or abusive behavior • Attempt to compromise platform security • Use the platform for illegal activities You may delete your account at any time through app settings. All your posts will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

12. Privacy and Anonymity

Your privacy is core to SOLO: • We do not sell your data • We cannot identify who posts what • We use minimal data collection • Posts are not linked to personal identifiers Review our Privacy Policy for complete details on data practices.

13. Disclaimers and Limitations

SOLO is provided 'AS IS' without warranties: • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service • We are not responsible for user-generated content • We cannot guarantee anonymity is never compromised • We are not liable for decisions made based on posts To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to damages not exceeding $100 or the amount you paid to use SOLO (if any) in the past 12 months.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with notice: • Significant changes will be announced in-app • Continued use constitutes acceptance • You should review Terms periodically If you disagree with changes, you must stop using SOLO.
